Policing in a Pandemic Environment

On 26 August 2020 three serving police officers spoke to spoke to RUSI(NS) and guests by video-conference about aspects of policing in the ongoing pandemic.

Inspector Blair Bannerman, New Glasgow Regional Police, spoke about operational challenges. His presentation was titled “Policing in a Pandemic Environment.”

Corporal Shawn Reynolds, RCMP, spoke about support behind the officers out front. His presentation was titled “Division Emergency Operation Centre: Supporting Those Who Do.”

Corporal Deepak Prasad, RCMP, spoke about effects on police and resiliency. His presentation was titled “Policing in a Pandemic Enviornment – The Wellness Lens.”
